【About Speaker】：
　　Yuan Liang is the expert of mineral processing engineering and gas control as well as the main founder of the theory and technology of simultaneous extraction of coal and gas.He was graduated from the Department of mining engineering of Huainan Mining Institute (Anhui University of Science & Technology).He had been the chief engineer of Huainan mining (Group) Co., Ltd for 15 years.Currently, he is the director of National engineering research center of coal mine gas prevention and control, the center director of coal mine gas control national engineering research, the director of the National Engineering and Research Center on Coal Gas Control (NERCCGC), the deputy general manager of Huainan mining (Group) Co., Ltd, the vice president of Anhui Association for Science and Technology, the vice president of China Coal Society, and the vice president of Chinese Society for Rock Mechanics and Engineering.

　　He has creatively put forward the theory of pressure-relieved gas extraction and technique system of integrated coal production and gas extraction. He has developed a full set of technologies with independent intellectual property rights, addressing the technical problems of pillarless coal and gas simultaneous mining in low permeability seam group and achieving the breakthrough about integrated coal production and gas extraction.He was the founder of the first National Engineering Research Center for Coal Gas Control in China, and applied the research findings to the national coal industries with the significant effects in society and economy along with the important contribution to the development of the theory and technology of simultaneous extraction of coal and gas.

　　He has performed many national research projects such as 973 Program, 863 Program, The national science and technology support program and special projects. He has obtained 6 second prizes of the National Science and Technology Advance Awards such as Key Technology of Pillarless Coal and Gas Simultaneous Mining in Low Permeability Seam Group.He has been awarded by Award for Outstanding Youth in Science and Technology, SunYueqi Energy Award, Anhui Major Science and Technology Achievement Award, National Outstanding Scientific and Technological Workers, Outstanding Contribution to Mining Award, and China Gold Patent Award.He has gained 27 national patents and 16 patents of invention, published 5 books like Theory and Technology of Gas Drainage and Capture in Soft Multiple Coal Seams of Low Permeability, and published over 60 papers.
