  Dr. Shen is an assistant professor in the School of Management and Economics, BIT. She was formerly a postdoctoral research fellow in the School of Design and Environment, National University of Singapore. She obtained her Ph.D. in Public Administration from Tianjin University, China. Her doctoral thesis was awarded the best dissertation award of Tianjin University. Supported by Chinese Scholarship Council (CSC), she was formerly a joint Ph.D. student in University of Maryland, College Park. She is currently reviewer for Energy and Buildings, Waste Management and Journal of Cleaner Production.
