International Affairs, Beijing Institute of Technology, in charge of international exchanges and cooperation between Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, has 3 sections: Section of Foreign Exchange, Section of General Affairs and Section of Chinese-foreign Jointly-run Programs. Besides, Confucius Institute Working Committee Office is affiliated to the Division. The routine duties of International Affairs includes reception of foreign guests, introduction of talents and experts, cooperation in running schools, handling of going abroad on business, international academic conferences, examination and approval of joint academic institutions, information statistics, comprehensive affairs, and affairs related to Confucius Institute, etc..
