Guide for Recent Business of Office of International Affairs

At this critical stage of outbreak control in Beijing and around the country, the office has made the following arrangements combining the situation for overseas visits on business, international conferences, international exchanges and exchanges with Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan.

01 Overseas Visits on Business

Out of consideration for the health and safety of teachers and students to avoid unnecessary risks, the office issued two circulars on suspending the recent overseas visits on business and canceling the recent student group outbound programs. For details, please consult the director in charge of international exchange of each school or the office. You may press to check recent reminders and circulars on entry and exit administration.

Applications for general programs of overseas visits on business have been suspended; For applications of important programs, please submit it to the office through relevant secondary schools and further to the director in charge of the university for review and approval. You may log in the “Overseas Visits on Business Online Declaration System” through VPN for applications.

02 International Conferences

The office has released a circular on suspension or postponement of the 2020 international academic conferences. For details, please consult the director in charge of international exchange of each school or the office. Applications for recent international conferences have been suspended; For applications of important programs, please submit it to the office through relevant secondary schools and further to the director in charge of the university for review and approval.

03 Affairs for International Exchanges and Exchanges with Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan.

During the outbreak, all teacher exchange programs must be submitted online through VPN. Please make an appropriate plan according to the epidemic situation, and contact and coordinate with the other side.

The signing process of agreements on various inter-school cooperation and student exchange programs will proceed as planned.
