Academic Journal Center, a publishing unit for academic journals established by BIT,isa division-level publishing entity that is responsible for the publishing of academic journals of BIT.

There are 5 academic journals sponsored or undertaken by the Center, includingTransaction of Beijing Institute of Technology,Journal of Beijing Institute of Technology,Journal of Beijing Institute of Technology (Social Sciences Edition),Journal of Deep Space ExplorationandAcademic Degrees & Graduate Education, which are all following the journal-running purpose of being academic, theoretical, high quality, open and pioneering. Adhering to principle of opening up and quality first and aiming to the pursuit of academic frontier, the Center devotes itself to realizing the publishing with internationalization and professionalization, building an international and domestic academic exchange platform for cutting-edge science and technology and original innovation, setting up a high-end forum with brand characteristics to help discipline development, forming a group of high-quality academic journals that matches the positioning of our university to be “world-class”, and serving and assisting the construction and development of “double first-class” BIT.

The high-level academic papers published in the journals are mainly authored by teachers of colleges and universities, researchers of institutions, engineers, technicians, and doctoral students, which will improve the promotion of international and domestic academic exchanges, the development of science and technology, the cultivation of scientific and technological talents and the influence of BIT at home and abroad.Moreover, the Center also works on running an academic journal that gathers the academic achievements of science and engineering at home and abroad, and reflects the latest academic discoveries and major progress.
