On April 28th, the launching ceremony of the iCourse International Platform was held at Higher Education Press. The new international MOOC platform, iCourse, was officially released. The first 9 English MOOCs recommended by Beijing Institute of Technology(BIT) were launched.

　　As global universities shift to online teaching due to the impact of the epidemic, Ministry of Education officially launched the first batch of international online teaching platforms that "xuetangx" and "iCourse" represent. The Ministry of Education emphasized that the first batch of courses launched on iCourse are a gathering of gold courses featured with rich varieties, outstanding universities, famous teachers. This is the "Chinese solution" that Chinese higher education contributes to world higher education.

　　In recent years, BIT has focused on the fundamental task of strengthening moral education and cultivating people, further promotion of "SPACE + X"plan. And BIT has built a new system of top-notch innovative talent training, and created a BIT brand of talent training. In terms of curriculum construction, BIT focuses on improvement of course quality, insists on the deep integration of education and information technology, and combines all English teaching majors and curriculum construction. BIT has launched a number of high-quality MOOC courses, including new engineering courses, English teaching courses and research-oriented courses.

　　BIT currently offers 128 MOOC courses on various online platforms, with nearly 4 million audiences. The successive introduction of English MOOC courses marks the first step for the construction of "BIT MOOC". The brand "Studying in BIT" goes global, helping to promote the high-quality development of BIT "double first-class" construction.
