According to the "Beijing Institute of Technology Graduate Credits Management Measures (Trial)", the conversion of graduate credits for this semester is now arranged as follows.

Curriculums and instructions for applying for credits conversion

1. Elective graduate curriculums completed before enrollment (including undergraduate students, auditors, etc.).

If graduate students had taken the graduate curriculums of our school before enrollment, the curriculums and credits would have been transferred to their graduate transcripts.

2. Undergraduate curriculums completed by graduates.

If graduate students had taken the core curriculums of undergraduate students during their studies, the curriculums would have been transferred to their graduate transcripts. However, it is not included in the total credits required for the graduate training program (training plan).

3. Elective curriculums off-campus.

If graduate students had taken the graduate specialized courses off-campus or overseas, the curriculums and credits would have been transferred to their graduate transcripts based on the original transcripts which are confirmed by the college.

Application process

Graduate students who meet the requirements of credits conversion can bring along the relevant certificate of achievement, the original transcript, and go to the college to register for the course to be converted.

Certificate of achievement is required for off-campus or overseas curriculums, and conversion of credits can be approved after review and confirmation by the college. All the reference materials (original materials or reviewed photocopies of original materials) for the conversion of credits shall be kept by the college.

Each college need to fill out the “Graduate Curriculum Credit Conversion Summary Form” (see attachment). The electronic version need to be submitted togrd985@bit.edu.cn, and the print-out need to be submitted to Graduate School Building 312 before off on September 27.

After the graduate school putting on record, the curriculum credits will be converted before the end of October.
