A group of outstanding college students from nearly 100 top-ranking universities across the country participated in the 2019 summer camp. It was organized by the Graduate School and enrolled by the Admissions College (unit).

The summer camp was held to attract and select outstanding undergraduates from the country. In 2019, 19 enrollment units of our university accepted more than 7,700 registered this year graduates, and only 1,800 outstanding students were selected to participate in the camp. The number of applicants and the number of participants has reached a record high in our university.

During the summer camp, the enrollment units held various activities such as “Opening ceremony”, “Face-to-face communication”, “Impression of BIT”, “Visiting the laboratory”, “Innovation and Entrepreneurship docking”, “Selecting excellent campers” and so on. This helped excellent students from all over the country fully understand our university's culture, academic atmosphere, distinctive academic characteristics, advanced research platform, cutting-edge scientific exploration and fruitful scientific research results. Then a group of outstanding students were selected as the candidates for the 2020 graduate student through the basic knowledge test, face-to-face communication between teachers and students, and the display of innovative achievements. What’s more, through the summer camp, some national excellent students could establish links with excellent teams and famous tutors of our university. And the camp could effectively expand the influence of our university and attract more outstanding college students to apply for graduate students.

The summer camp started preparations at the end of May. And it was successfully held with the help of Graduate School, all admission units and relevant departments.
