The School of International Education was established in 2008 and is aimed to strengthen BIT’s international exchanges and communications and explore and implement international joint programs.The School now offers an array of international joint programs in cooperation with the School of Continuing Education and the School of Distance Education: a BS International Economics program with Utah State University, USA; a MS Vocational Education program with Dresden University of Technology, Germany; and a “Compliance and Company Management” EMBA program with Konstanz University of Applied Sciences, Ingolstadt University of Applied Sciences, and Daimler Co., Ltd. These programs are all running in China, with brilliant faculty from worldwide to direct and guide students in their development. Students will be awarded the degrees of these BIT’s partner universities abroad when completing their studies. The School comprises the following functional offices: the School Office, the Admission Office, the International Educational and Cooperation Center and the Student Affairs Office/Youth League Committee Office, andis host to 458 undergraduates and 75 postgraduates at school. The School provides students with a truly rare educational experience and a potential edge for future career development. It implements small class teaching and students can learn literature, culture and other subjects in English.
