Introduction

  In order to strengthen morality education and promote the enrolment, management and training of students in large category, Jinggong Academy, Ruixin Academy of Classic Learning, Qiushi College, Ming De Academy, School of Management and Economics, Zhiyi College, Teli College, School of Beijing and Ling Wen Academy were established in 2018. Moreover, in 2019, it was studied and decided by the Party Committee of BIT that, the nine academies/schools/colleges were changed from school organizations to other teaching and scientific research institutions to realize substantive operation.

  With academies/schools/colleges and Schools as the organizational units, the mode of “Academy/School/College” Education is a kind of mode which is students-oriented, and continuously deepens the trinity-talent-cultivation of “value-shaping, knowledge-cultivation and practice-training”. Besides, it lays stress on the combination of quality education and professional education. What’s more, through multi-angle and multi-level education guidance, the value guidance will run through the whole process of knowledge and ability cultivation, and build a platform for teachers to guide learning, peer-to-peer learning, environment to promote learning, and activity to practice learning.

  Based on the reality of multi-campus running, BIT adheres to “local management”, divides the main body of education management, establishes the joint-meeting system of academies/schools/colleges and Schools as the highest decision-making mechanism, and promotes the establishment of academies/schools/colleges and Schools to jointly implement the four-year undergraduate education management model. Through the implementation of the supervisor system, the introduction of scholars, cadres, teachers, peers, etc. is adopted to guide students to make improvement. According to the general layout of “one academy/school/college, one community”, the space resources can be allocated, the construction of an academy/school/college community with multiple functions can be pushed forward, and a cultural “home” can be built.

  Mechanism can be improved because of cultivation; resources can be reallocated because of cultivation; and talents can be gathered because of cultivation. BIT will constantly enrich the mode of “Academy/School/College” Education, and create a new paradigm of ideological and political education for students to inherit the red gene so as to lay a solid foundation for the talent cultivation for BIT!
