Jingguan College, entrusted managed by School of Management and Economics, has strengthened the construction of academic style and built an academic counseling system of “professional guidance-basic learning-model assistance”. With the vision of “being the spiritual home of BIT undergraduates major in Economics and Management, and the new Whampoa Military Academy that cultivates creative and outstanding talents in economics and management”, the School aims to build the characteristics of general liberal arts and economics, give full play to the role of “Three Aspects of Education” supervisors in multi-level and multi-angle education and guidance in campus life, academic development, life planning, etc., and build “Academic Experience Camps”, “Young Teachers Telling Stories of Overcoming Difficulties”, “Growth Online” and other platforms to achieve practical results. Besides, the School focuses on the cultivation of undergraduates’ professional competence, thinking ability, effective communication ability, teamwork ability, international vision, ethics and social responsibility, which will help them grow into leaders who are knowledgeable, proficient in management, aware of how to make improvement, good at communication, and have a global vision with responsibility and the ability of independent thinking.
There are 5 majors for undergraduates: Information Management and Information Systems, Business Administration, Marketing, Accounting and International Economics and Trade, as well as several projects including the Economics and Management Experimental Class, the International Economics and Trade Class (English teaching) and the Accounting Project (sino-foreign educational cooperation).
